Just got another waitlist, this time at Duke.
This could really be a blessing in disguise because I really want to go to NYU. Not only do I like the culture, it would also really make my life practically easier in a million ways. Sometimes, the best things that can happen to you are when the decisions are taken out of your hands!
For the folks out there without an acceptance yet I say, fight on! Waitlists are certainly better than nothing, and it is really a matter of fighting the other WLs and Round 3 applicants for the slot.
The main thing I’ll be missing out from this Duke waitlist is the awesome weather and air down in Durham, NC. I’m not a big college basketball fan. Maybe the admissions committee found out my secret
